For Yamaha Motor Europe N.V.(YME), located at Schiphol-Rijk in the Netherlands, we are looking for a Brand Specialist PTW in our Marketing Division.

 

About the role: 
As a Brand Marketing Specialist, you will drive the marketing efforts for all Powered Two Wheelers (PTW) segments. In this role, you have a significant say in how we communicate and market both existing and new products. Supporting the Department Manager, you will manage a variety of activities including events, campaigns, and daily operations in alignment with our regional strategy. You will ensure all Yamaha Motor Europe assets are available to our distributors while acting as a driving force for innovation and continuity. By leveraging your network and knowledge, you will strive to create the best possible output, collaborating closely with local teams and international workforces, including our headquarters in Japan.

 

Your responsibilities:
•    Responsible for delivering the Brand and Product strategy, including positioning for specific product groups and segments;
•    Define marketing plans that encompass embargo strategies and asset delivery, ensuring these are shared with and approved by YMC;
•    Responsible for executing activities at every stage of the customer lifecycle, always aiming to exceed expectations across all touchpoints. This includes managing pre- and post-purchase initiatives designed to secure owner loyalty and create Lifetime Yamaha Customers;
•    Lead the execution of the plans with the support of assigned coordinators utilizing the full range of Yamaha Motor Europe’s tools—from campaigns and CRM to events and apps;
•    Ensure the timely production and delivery of all communication materials to promote Yamaha products and services in line with the marketing plan;
•    Responsible for the correct distribution and adoption of these materials throughout Europe and across global markets;
•    Responsible for the concept behind our Press Tests and support with the execution of the Press Test and Customer events managed by the Trade Marketing and Events Department within the Marketing Division;
•    Initiate the execution of the pan-European on/off-line media campaigns in close collaboration with your team and other divisions;
•    Analyze competitors through out the year and be up-to-date with latest trends in the industry;
•    Support in the periodically report creation and structured check of activities results, both from a Customer and Distributor point of view.

 

What do you bring?
•    Bachelor degree in Marketing or Communication with proven experience developing and executing marketing plans;
•    Masters degree in a relevant field of work is considered a plus.
•    Minimum 5+ years’ work experience in Automotive or similar, in a similar position and ideally in an international environment;
•    Agency experience is a plus;
•    Experience with project management;
•    Excellent communication, organization and planning skills;
•    Strategic thinker & creative and a team player;
•    Strong analytical and problem-solving attitude;
•    Open attitude, supportive and most of all, self-starting and autonomous;
•    Excellent knowledge of the English language, both spoken and in writing;
•    Willing to travel within Europe;
•    Any additional language (French, Spanish, Italian, German) is considered a plus.
