For Yamaha Motor Europe N.V.(YME), located at Schiphol-Rijk in the Netherlands, we are looking for a Business Pricing Coordinator in our Parts & Accessories Division.

 

About the role: 
Establish and maintain a central Parts & Accessories price system for all segments and new models, based on perceived value and market conform pricing, in line with the Parts & Accessories Business Planning policy & strategy. This in order to secure competiveness in the market and the proper profitability and margin setting within our Group, run the yearly price revision, define the proper price setting of new Spare Parts & promotions, establish the required Business intelligence and provide a solid information base for decision making of management related to budget and Midterm plan (MTP guidelines).

 

Your responsibilities:
•    Define, implement and maintain the price setting of new & existing Parts within the segment Captive & Sensitive based on Perceived Value logic, in order to make sure that Parts in this segment are priced consistent by function, size, weight, complexity and market price.
•    Define and provide input for market studies, and obtain competitors’ price information per segment for new and current models to benchmark and review pricing.
•    Define and run the yearly price revision in line with the Parts & Accessories Business planning policy & strategy and budget.
•    Handle incoming price requests from affiliates and make sure Parts are priced properly in system2000, with all parameters set properly.
•    Investigate, obtain, analyse and provide P&A Business intelligence in close consultation with the Department Manager to define and monitor the yearly & monthly budget and MTP, understand competitors’ positions and directions, and define monitoring & reporting tools.
•    Define and create monitoring & analysing tools in close consultation with management, enabling division staff to make solid and precise data analyses and proper decisions to achieve their QPA targets.
•    Pro-actively gather data in close consultation with management and/or staff, and make precise data analyses to provide fact-based information that supports proper decisions and helps spot deviations.
•    Devise and define monthly and ad hoc reports for Senior Management, in consultation with Department manager, to provide insight into the realisation of the department’s target figures as set in the Mid Term Plan.
•    Initiate and participate in occasional short- and medium-term projects on behalf of the Business Planning group, Parts & Accessories Division or YMENV, aimed at bringing forward important aspects for Parts & Accessories and/or YMENV.

 

What do you bring?
•    Master’s degree in quantitative field;  
•    At least 3 years of relevant working experience (Pricing) in a commercial and International environment  
(preferable in the Parts & Accessory, Automotive business); 
•    Strong knowledge of MS Office software tools like Access, Excel & Power Point, Cognos, Pyramid; 
•    Excellent analytical, presentation and reporting skills; 
•    Affinity with our products (Motorcycle, ATV, Marine);  
•    MC driving license would be an asset; 
•    Excellent knowledge of English language, both spoken and written; 
•    Result driven, creative mind, enthusiastic, pro-active and strong focus on relation management; 
•    The right attitude to support.
