For Yamaha Motor Europe N.V., located at Schiphol-Rijk in the Netherlands, we are looking for an IT Infrastructure Engineer in our Information Systems Division.
About the role:
The IT Infrastructure Department is responsible for providing and maintaining the IT infrastructure that enables Yamaha’s group companies to utilize all business applications efficiently and effectively. The IT Infrastructure Engineer plays a key role in achieving departmental objectives by ensuring the performance, continuity, and security of the infrastructure.
Your responsibilities:
• Manage and maintain the IT infrastructure for the European region in collaboration with a team of approximately 5 professionals.
• Ensure continuous service delivery to the business.
• Uphold high standards for system security, performance, and capacity.
• Stay current with the latest industry trends and emerging technologies.
• Contribute innovative ideas to our improvement roadmap.
• Identify opportunities to enhance the infrastructure, ensuring it remains scalable, fast, and secure.
What do you bring?
• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent through professional experience) in Business or IT.
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
• Knowledge and experience with networking technologies (e.g., Cisco switches, Checkpoint firewalls) is a distinct advantage.
• Ability to learn and adapt to a rapidly changing technical environment.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Proactive approach to investigating and resolving infrastructure incidents independently.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to thrive in an international environment.
• Proficiency in English (both written and verbal);
• Fluency in other European languages is considered an asset.
• Willingness to travel occasionally within Europe.

About Yamaha Motor Europe
Yamaha Motor Europe is responsible for coordinating the marketing and sales activities of our products in the European market, mainly: Yamaha motorcycles, scooters, marine engines, personal watercraft vehicles, boats, 4-wheeled all terrain and side-by-side vehicles (ATVs/SSVs), lightweight vehicles (golf cars, personal and commercial vehicles).
