For Yamaha Motor Europe N.V.(YME), located at Schiphol-Rijk in the Netherlands, we are looking for a Product Category Coordinator (Yamalube) in our Parts & Accessories Division.

 

About the role: 
The Product Category Coordinator (Yamalube - Lubricant) develops, executes, and manages business plans for assigned categories and product segments in line with the department's vision and strategy. In this role, you will expand and optimize the Yamalube product lineup to maximize value for customers and the Parts Department, manage the full products lifecycle, and define growth, profit, and turnover targets in line with the Mid-Term Plan (MTP).

 

Additionally, you will gather, analyze, and report on market information, competitor data, and customer insights to build a solid foundation for Yamalube strategy, forecasting, and budget creation. You will also oversee and support the overall Yamalube business performance of assigned territories, tracking sales and market activities closely to provide weekly performance updates to management and key stakeholders.

 

Your responsibilities:
•    Gather and analyze market data (size, share, pricing, competitor information) and unit data. Use this data to develop short- and medium-term business plans for assigned product segments in line with department strategy.
•    Collect and report on product performance, fit-up ratios, and regional market data. Initiate targeted actions across Europe to ensure quantitative and qualitative budget and Mid-Term Plan (MTP) objectives are met.
•    Collect distributor, dealer, and market feedback alongside competitor pricing and fit-up rates. Use this information to optimize Yamaha’s product offer, increase competitiveness, and advise the Team Lead on product strategy.
•    Maintain and efficiently communicate up-to-date product information, educational materials, and lifecycle data. Ensure all stakeholders (distributors, dealers, YME staff) have the necessary details to meet MTP and sales budget targets.
•    Define yearly marketing and communication deliverables (online/offline content, press launches, exhibitions). Coordinate with the Marketing Division to ensure items are delivered on schedule so distributors and dealers receive tools in time.
•    Identify and coordinate network development activities in close collaboration with distributors. Aim to increase market share, fit-up rates, cross-selling, and upselling while sharing best practices across branch offices.
•    Work closely with the inventory team to monitor daily stock levels and product lifecycle positioning. Initiate actions like promotions and sell-outs to optimize inventory, availability, and time to market.
•    Prepare monthly and ad hoc reports for management in consultation with the Team Lead. Provide insights into targets set in the Mid-Term Plan, including actual sales, margins, and fit-up ratios.
•    Initiate and participate in short- and medium-term projects for the Parts & Accessories Department. Focus on key divisional priorities and communicate progress and results frequently and openly.
•    Execute the yearly and mid-term marketing calendar. Ensure all Yamalube-related actions are initiated on time and in full, utilizing the proper materials provided by the Marketing Division.
