You have the opportunity to be part of the Yamaha family.
For Yamaha Motor Europe N.V.(YME), located at Schiphol-Rijk in the Netherlands, we are looking for a R2R Accountant in our F & A Division.

Your responsibilities:

- Perform general ledger accounting activities, including journal entries, accruals, provisions, intercompany charges and reclassifications.
- Take ownership of timely and accurate monthly, quarterly and annual closings for your assigned European entities.
- Maintain high-quality Balance Sheet reconciliations and specifications, ensuring balances are properly supported and understood.
- Ensure compliance with IFRS, local GAAP, tax requirements and company reporting guidelines.
Reporting, Analysis & Country Collaboration
- Perform P&L and Balance Sheet reviews, investigate significant variances and unusual movements, and provide clear explanations.
- Act as the primary R2R contact for your assigned countries and build effective working relationships with local stakeholders.
- Participate in regular Country Reviews to discuss financial results, relevant business developments and accounting topics, developing a good understanding of the business behind the numbers.
Process Improvement & Team Collaboration
- Identify practical opportunities to simplify, standardize or automate recurring activities and reduce manual work.
- Contribute to knowledge sharing, documentation and backup coverage within the R2R team.
- Contribute to Finance-related activities and process changes as part of the ongoing SAP S/4HANA implementation.
What do you bring?
- A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Relevant hands-on experience in general ledger or financial accounting, preferably within an international, multi-entity or Shared Service Center environment.
- A good understanding of accounting principles and experience with general ledger accounting, Balance Sheet reconciliations and month-end closing activities.
- Experience with IFRS, tax and intercompany accounting is an advantage.
- Experience with ERP systems; SAP experience is preferred and SAP S/4HANA experience is an advantage.
- Good Excel skills, an analytical mindset and fluency in English; knowledge of Dutch is preferred, while other European languages are an advantage.
About You!
You are a hands-on and reliable finance professional who takes ownership of your responsibilities and is comfortable working independently. You combine attention to detail with curiosity about the business behind the numbers and are confident communicating with colleagues and stakeholders across different countries and functions.
