For Yamaha Motor Europe N.V.(YME), located at Schiphol-Rijk in the Netherlands, we are looking for a Sales Coordinator in our Power Two Wheelers (PTW) Division.

 

About the role: 
The Sales Coordinator works closely with assigned distributors to manage sales for PTW (Powered Two-Wheeler) products. The role includes co-creating sales plans based on YME guidelines, market conditions and dealer inventory.

 

The focus is on achieving sales targets by monitoring progress, reviewing results, identifying gaps, and updating future plans through continuous PDCA cycles. Strong market knowledge and accurate information are essential to support this process.

 

The Sales Coordinator also takes ownership of selected product segments, monitors market and product developments, and works with internal teams to support sales performance and commercial success.

 

Your responsibilities:
•    Act as the first point of contact for assigned markets, network development and business management topics;
•    Maintain up-to-date market knowledge, including regulations, pricing, promotions and compliance requirements;
•    Co-create sales plans with distributors for PTW products;
•    Monitor daily and weekly sales performance, analyse gaps against targets and report findings on time;
•    Propose countermeasures with distributors and follow up on agreed actions to improve results;
•    Share planning preconditions, including product, colour, price, supply and marketing information;
•    Support retail and wholesale target setting based on market demand, competitor assumptions and dealer inventory;
•    Ensure sales plans are accurately reflected and explained clearly to key stakeholders;
•    Drive sales target achievement with distributors through order management, availability optimisation and retail support;
•    Take ownership of assigned product segments and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve targets.

 

What do you bring?
•    Minimum of 5–7 years of relevant business experience;
•    Previous sales or business experience within the automotive industry is preferred;
•    Strong communication skills;
•    Customer-focused mindset, with the ability to support distributors by optimising headquarters    processes and sharing knowledge effectively;
•    Strong analytical and reporting skills, including experience with BI Cognos and Excel (pivot tables); previous experience with Salesforce and/or SAP is an advantage;
•    A collaborative, win-win mindset;
•    High level of accuracy and attention to detail in own work;
•    Agile, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced and evolving business environment;
•    Passion for, or curiosity about, the Powered Two-Wheeler industry.
•    Knowledge about distribution network is an added advantage.
