About the role:
Perform technical support to distributors/dealers for all relevant marine products. Improve and coordinate the European Marine Service policies and procedures, drawn up within Divisional guidelines. Set KPI’s on service and warranty performance of the dealers and, based on their performance, write an action plan for Distributors to address the situation / support to improve this performance.
Your responsibilities:
1. Distributors and YME branch office service technical and warranty support:
Support all distributors’ staff and dealers. Correspond to technical and warranty issues and questions from distributors and report to YMC by e-mail or market information. Improve the warranty flow (including the proper settlement of warranty claims toward factories) by improving processes and systems and set-up and multi-product/cross border warranty and pan-European extended warranty.
2. Create, modify and maintain systems with IT div:
Modify and maintain service systems and databases with YME-IT div. such the ones used in warranty operations creating future YME marine business systems, integrating sales/part/service with YME-IT and YMC services to adapt to the global service program.
3. Measure and increase the performance of our dealers for warranty /service:
Set KPI’s on dealer warranty cost and performance, Distributor dashboard, based on Yamaha’s policies and procedures. Based on these KPI’s, regularly measure the related performance of distributors/dealers. Together with the Service coordinators and the distributors, define trainings/tools/support to improve the performance of the dealers with regards to service/warranty.
4. Support Product Planning and Management:
Support Product planning by gathering and providing proper feedback from the European market in an early stage of development. Keep close contact with all the YME stakeholders and the distributors to structure the European market development.
What do you bring?
- Business experience of 3 years.
- Functional knowledge in the field of Marine:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree, preferably in Engineering or a technical field.
- Communicational (internal / external) skills.
- Fluency in the English language.
- Excellent MS Office software skills.
