For Yamaha Motor Europe N.V.(YME), located at Schiphol-Rijk in the Netherlands, we are looking for a Warranty Coordinator in our Service Division.

 

About the role: 
The Warranty Coordinator ensures a compliant and efficient warranty claim handling process and system throughout Europe, in line with Yamaha’s business requirements, against a minimum of costs. He/she actively collaborates with the Warranty lead PV, Factories, R&D and Distributor offices to provide high quality warranty support to guarantee Customer centric warranty claim handling and strives for a continuous improvement on cost and process efficiency. He/she assists the Warranty lead PV by implementing defined warranty projects and/or improvements to the European warranty and quality strategy, processes and system.

 

Your responsibilities:
•    Coordinate warranty process and system improvements, ensuring proper reporting, financial handling and adherence to project plans, keeping the interest of YMENV, Distributor, Dealer and Retail customer in mind;
•    Ensure successful, on-time completion and follow up with stakeholders to achieve defined Warranty, Service and CX targets;
•    Manage the European warranty claims process and systems, ensuring accurate parameter maintenance, updated manuals, and contract adherence;
•    Oversee the rollout of system improvements across Europe, aiming to integrate all subsidiaries and non-subsidiaries;
•    Coordinate claims cost recovery at involved Factories and Parts and Accessory suppliers 
•    Provide comprehensive warranty support to Distributors, Factories, and YMENV stakeholders, managing all related financial activities and addressing quality assurance or system issues with timely and accurate feedback;
•    Gather and report Warranty KPIs and audit performance with improvement and cost reducing suggestions to relevant stakeholders, ensuring timely data sharing from Distributors, Factories, YMENV, and competitors to meet MTP and Service Plan objectives for safety, quality, and cost efficiency;
•    Coordinate incoming Invoices of the Service Division to ensure all are managed via the correct OnBase approval flows and can be approved via OnBase by the responsible stakeholders.

 

What do you bring?
•    MBO degree, or partial certificates, in Automotive related technology;
•    Minimum 2-4 years of relevant experience;
•    Capable of identifying; warranty excesses, process and system improvements, cost reducing and customer/stakeholder focussed solutions;
•    Knowledge of Microsoft office and well organized with strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks and projects.
•    Experience with SAP system would be an advantage;
•    Good verbal and written communication skills; 
•    Proficient in English and Dutch (mandatory requirement).
